During my senior year of high school I asked my guidance counselor what was the most lucrative profession that I could pursue. I expected that he would list "doctor, lawyer or engineer," but he responded "Anti-American Preacher."
Because of my naivety I brushed off his recommendation.
Years later when I learned that the Reverend Jeremiah Wright was granted a $1.6 million dollar home, I realized that I should have listened to my guidance counselor!
